Introducing New Written Description Bloggers

I am delighted to welcome three new bloggers on Written Description, who will share their thoughts on recent IP scholarship while I take a one-year blogging break. You can look forward to hearing from them in the coming weeks! We are open to adding one or two more blog authors, so if you are interested in blogging about twice a month, please send me an email.

Christopher Suarez (casuarez@alum.mit.edu) has dual Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Political Science degrees from MIT, where he minored in Economics. At Yale Law School he was an Executive Editor of the Yale Law and Policy Review. His primary scholarship interest lies at the intersection of Intellectual Property and Antitrust. A former middle school math teacher with Teach For America, he also writes extensively about Education Law and Policy.

Sarah Tran (stran@smu.edu) is an Assistant Professor of Law at SMU. Professor Tran’s research focuses on regulatory structures that promote innovation and sustainable development. She is particularly interested in the intersection between environmental law and patent law.

Tan Mau Wu (tmw@alum.mit.edu) received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently works as a patent agent.
